I am passionate about the Bible. No other book has been more translated, more debated, more widely distributed, or even more banned than this book! It is the best-selling book every year and of all time.
Some say the Bible is hard to understand, but I disagree. It’s a great read! It contains history, drama, poetry, romance, adventure, mystery – all the stuff great movies are made of.
I’ve seen this book change nations and lives, including my own. The Bible is my guide. It shows me how to be a leader, a husband, a father, and a friend. I would be a very different person without it.
For most of my adult life, I’ve been privileged to share my passion for the Bible with others. First, as a Sunday school teacher for 35 years and later as one of the founders and developers of Nazareth Village in Nazareth, Israel.
In 2010, I was invited to oversee the launch of what has become Museum of the Bible. Our mission: To Invite all people to engage with the Bible. Can you think of anything more worthwhile?
The last five years have been a whirlwind. I wake up every morning asking God, “What amazing thing are you going to do, today?” Through Museum of the Bible, I’ve been able to share the story of this incomparable book in cities across the country and around the world! I’ve had the chance to see and study some of the most amazing archaeological finds in history. I’ve learned from brilliant, world-renowned scholars and been inspired by enthusiastic and astute scholars-in-training. This is the adventure of a lifetime and I look forward to sharing it with you.
